British Medical Journal Awards 2019                                                       “Stroke and Cardiovascular Team of the Year” Category

Presented by Dr Cemil Izgi, the PEARS Project  received the Highly Commended accolade for the “Stroke and Cardiovascular Team of the Year” category at the prestigious British Medical Journal Awards 2019.

The competition in the Stroke and Cardiovascular category included an original entry list of nearly 200 projects among which 6 were shortlisted as finalists. The awards were announced at the end of the Judging Day on 24 April 2019. “The awards reflect The BMJ’s mission to improve patient outcomes and showcase the very best healthcare by recognizing and celebrating the exceptional work done by doctors and their teams across the UK.”
